From there, we will head for the impressive New CathedralThe iconic golden dome has witnessed centuries of seafaring history. We will pass by the Food Marketthe Tavira Tower and the Carnival Housethe epicenter of what is possibly the most deeply rooted tradition in Cadiz.
We will walk along Broad StreetWe will also visit the “El Cádiz”, the epicenter of Cadiz trade in the times of the merchants from America, and we will discover the traces they left behind. Then, we will stop in front of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri.
At the Oratory of San Felipe Neri, we’ll delve into the dramatic moments when Spaniards from both hemispheres united to resist French invasion, and how the 1812 Constitution sparked the first flames of independence across the Atlantic.
Finally, we will let ourselves be carried away by the charm of the Barrio de La Viñawith its genuine Cadiz atmosphere that will make you feel at home.
We will close the tour at the magical Caleta Beachsurrounded by the imposing castles of San Sebastián.
